Create a vision for your relationship.
Summer is in full swing over at the Osborn’s house which means we are full to the brim with summer baseball and softball, some weekend travel, and long hot days with the kids home.
And as much as I LOVE it, it’s also A LOT to juggle. Which is why my husband and I created a summer bucket list… just for the two of us. It doesn’t make a darn bit of a difference that I work with couples every day on their relationships, I still have to work on mine. And in order to avoid falling into a rut of all family time and no couple time… we made a list of a handful of things that we are committed to doing… just the two of us.
Here are a few of our ideas:
Happy hour at our favorite sushi spot.
Sunset walk on the trail behind our house.
Stargaze together.
Eat a yummy dinner in our backyard.
And I’m excited to see how many more ideas we can come up with during these summer months.
I encourage the two of you to create a list of your own and more importantly, to follow through on it. Don’t just take the time to make a couple’s summer bucket list… actually do the things.
I can’t wait to see what connection it creates for the two of you.
Until next week,
-A
P.S. Share some of your bucket list ideas! I’d love to encourage your creativity!!
