Get Creative in Your Relationship

My mom is one of the most creative people you’ve ever met. She’s not only a tremendous artist, but she has an innate ability to look at an old cardboard box or an empty flower pot and instantly have a creative idea on how to repurpose it, make it into a fun new contraption, or bring it back to life.

I’d like to think that I got my creative side from her, although I’m not even in the same ballpark when it comes to her ability. My creativity is an area that gives me release and so much excitement as I see simple ideas start to take shape.

The coolest thing about creativity is that there are no rules and no wrong way to be creative. If you let your mind AND imagination wander, you can be very creative with very very little.

And creativity isn’t just limited to art, redecorating, or Pinterest. Creativity can and should be alive in your life, your body, and your relationship.

The more creative you can be in how you connect, how you communicate, and how you love, the more your relationship will feel vibrant and alive.

And that is my encouragement to you this week. To step out of the confines of rules and routines to…

Try fun and new things together… make creativity your friend.

Don’t let the old and stale become the norm in your relationship. You can do this!

Yours,

A
