Take a Breath
There’s been a lot of life coming at me this last month.
A lot.
Between the move, a major kitchen remodel, and our sweet pup passing, life has felt heavy and overwhelming.
And my nervous system is on overload.
I think our nerve endings are only prepared to handle so much at a time and when they start to short circuit, all heck begins to break loose.
Those are the moments when it feels like you don’t know what to do when it all feels so heavy and overwhelming... where you just need to take a breath.
You don't have to have all of the answers in life, especially when you’re overloaded and overwhelmed... but you can always take a breath.
I don’t know what you’re walking through right now, but I know I’m not alone in my version of heavy... and a breath may help right now.
The holidays can be a time of joy and celebration or they can be a time of sadness and overwhelm.
And that’s all ok.
Regardless of what you may be able to do with what you’re carrying or facing right now... because...
When in doubt, take a breath.
This is true in life, in love, and really whatever you’re juggling.
When you don’t know what to do... take a breath.
I know I’ve needed to take quite a few this last bit and slowly but surely it’s helping my nervous system calm as well.
