Say “yes” to Adventures!

I flew out yesterday with my dad and two sisters for a hiking tour of Glacier National Park. It’s a trip that was planned two years ago, got canceled last year due to COVID, and is now finally happening.

I grew up camping and visiting National Parks, but oddly enough, I’m not a huge geology/national park visiting kind of gal. These days, I’m more of a sit by the lake with a good book and a bubbly drink in my hand kind of gal. But, you know what I also am… a gal that steps outside of her comfort zone.

Like the rest of you, I can easily get stuck in a rut or keep my head down and forget that life is passing me by. Which is why I love reminders to do something new and try something different.

And doing it with people I love, even better.

And it’s how I want to encourage you this week…

To step out of your comfort zone… together.

When you try something different or do something new, you have to rely on each other to figure it out. You get to see the experience through fresh eyes. You get to form memories that are sacred to just the two of you.  You get to be all there… together.

Sure your week might not look like a 6-day hike into who knows what, but that doesn’t matter. Plan your own version of stepping outside of your comfort zone and enjoy the adventure together!!

I can’t wait to hear where it leads you.

P.S. I can’t wait to share what I’ve really learned from this adventure I’m embarking on… but what about you? What is the coolest thing you’ve learned about yourself or your relationship when you’ve gone on an adventure together? Hit reply and share!
