Are You Quick To Blame....But Slow To Apologize?

Most that know me would say that I’m quick to offer my opinion. Luckily, as I’ve matured a bit, I only offer it when asked. But regardless, I’m definitely a quick draw in that way.

And, sometimes it pays to be quick. Quick to volunteer, quick to say “yes”, quick to dive in.

Other timesit’s not so great to be quick.  Quick to blame, quick to assume and quick to react.

This week, I challenge you to flip quickness on its end.

Think of all the things you do without even slowing down to think, and reevaluate to see if they’re really serving you.  Are all of your quick responses beneficial?

Blaming someone else…do you need to slow down there?

What about when it comes to apologizing and righting a wrong? Can you get quicker there?

Push yourself to be quicker to apologize and slower to blame. I know that when you slow down your assumptions, and instead seek understanding, your relationship will absolutely benefit from it.

Save this meme and challenge yourself to be much more quick to apologize.

Just see the difference it can begin to make.

Yours,

-A
