Uncomfortable is normal

I don’t know why we think change is supposed to be comfortable, but we sure do.

I mean, we all know that it’s going to be hard and yet there’s still a part of us that holds onto the belief that we’re doing change ‘right’ when it feels comfortable. Or believing that you’re supposed to somehow ‘feel’ comfortable when you’re changing or growing.

And as the bearer of bad news… comfortable ain’t going to happen when you’re changing.

It’s not supposed to be painful or traumatizing, but it’s going to stretch you and make you feel pretty darn uncomfortable.

Especially when it comes to growing and changing in love.

Learning how to communicate more effectively… hard.
Breaking old patterns of disconnection… difficult.
Practicing being vulnerable with one another… uncomfortable.

And yet every single one of those growth edges is oh-so-worth it.

Work to reset your expectations and embrace the beauty of being…

Productively uncomfortable in love!!
