Happy Dad’s Day

Happy Father’s Day to all of those dads out there being amazing role models to their kids on what really solid and loving relationships look like.

You see, the role of dad isn’t just to be a stellar parent, but to be an even more stellar partner. As parents, we have the blessing and the burden of modeling healthy behavior to our children. And one of the most important things that we can model to our kids is what it really looks like to love each other well.

And what it looks like to…

Disagree and still respect each other.
Make repairs after we disconnect.
Have fun and laugh together.
Make plans and follow through on them.

So if you’re lucky enough to be married to a pretty amazing guy, who also happens to be a pretty rad dad, take the time to show them some love this weekend. Or if you co-parent really well with the great dad to your kids… slow down and celebrate him today too.
