Make it count.

It’s the start of the New Year. Time for deep reflection, setting big goals, and taking intentional action to make it all happen. Or maybe it’s time to slow down, reset, and start again. To make the day count.

One of my grandma’s most repeated sayings was, ‘Make every day count’. When she passed away, my sister had the saying engraved on necklaces as a reminder to hold that intention with us. Even though it’s been many years since my Gram passed, her words are always swirling around me.

How can I make today count in little ways? In small and simple ways? In ways that can create even the tiniest of a ripple?

Goals don’t always have to be big and flashy. And effort is rarely glamorous or noteworthy. But if you work to make each day count in even the smallest of ways, you’ll get to where you need to go.

You’ll lift those around you. You will inspire action to build upon itself. And most importantly you’ll show yourself and those around you that intentional steps lead you down a beautiful path.

As you step into this New Year together… work to make each day count.
