It's Time to Mix Things Up

Holidays are looking a little bit different around our house this year. Our annual traditions are not really happening and we’re working to tweak and shift in order to find new ways to come together and spend time as a family. Thank goodness for parks, warm fall afternoons, and creativity.

As much as there’s sadness around things not looking the same as they usually do this time of year… there’s also a little spark growing around what we’re creating in its place. It may not be the 37 people deep Thanksgiving dinner with 15 extended cousins running around, but it doesn’t mean it’s going to be any less special or significant.

Because at the end of the day, mixing things up and finding ways to roll with “abnormal” isn’t a bad thing.

In fact, trying something new might be a great thing… especially in love.

Honestly, when was the last time the two of you tried something new? Get creative in your connection and know that the more the two of you mix things up, the more you’ll get to relish in new memories, new adventures, and renewed connection.
