Resolutions? Ummmmm, yes!

Happy New Year!!

I can’t believe it’s 2022… how in the Lord’s name did we get here??

To be honest, I’m a gal that loves the freshness of a new day, a new week, a new month, so don’t even get me started on the excitement I carry with a NEW YEAR!

One of my favorite things to do each year… which I’m doing today by the way… is to sit down with a fresh calendar, lots of colored pens, and start mapping out my vision, plan, and ideas for the new year.

And of course, adding some goals to my list.

There are 5 areas that I focus on and I usually write down about 2-3 ways that I want to improve or grow in each of those areas in the coming year.

The 5 areas of focus are...

  • Personal

  • Relationship

  • Heart & Spirit

  • Financial

  • Work

And the one that really becomes the foundation to all of the other goals is Relationship.  If I had to put all of my energy into only one area… Relationship is where it’s at.  It’s certainly the one that will give you the most benefit.

Why you ask? Because your primary relationship is where you pull the most energy from.  And that can be an amazing thing when your relationship is in sync OR it can be a really difficult thing when your relationship is strained or disconnected.

Taking the time to focus on your partnership this year is the #1 benefit when it comes to improving all areas of your life.

So…

Set resolutions… they help your relationship grow… together.

I’m so committed to this idea, that this year, you’ll notice me talking a lot about how you prioritize your relationship.  Lots of encouragement, challenges, and questions… all about prioritizing your relationship.  I want to walk with you this year… to help you heal, reconnect, and communicate in a way that empowers your partnership to be the true power source in your lives.

I encourage you to take some time in the next week to sit down and set some resolutions together. They can be as simple as weekly date nights (which isn’t that simple when it comes to life and logistics but super beneficial) or as deep as working together to heal trust wounds.

Whatever they are, I’m here for it.

So buckle up my friends, we’re going to have an amazing year… together.

I can’t wait to hear from you: so please share your relationship resolutions.

Yours,

-A

P.S. If it feels too overwhelming to write down your relationship resolutions together… then do it separately. Just because it may be hard to talk about right now, doesn’t mean you don’t start the process slowly and steadily. And don’t forget… I’m here to offer support and encouragement along the way.
