Breathe And Enjoy The Present

 

This may not come as a shock to you, but I tend to be a go-go-go type of gal. I am usually mentally onto the next task way before I’m done with the task at hand. This makes me a super energetic and efficient person to be around…it also makes me REALLY bad at being in the present and celebrating the moment.

So yes, I’m constantly working on this. I’d say I’m better than I used to be, but slowing down and taking in the moment is still not my autopilot.

This week’s tip is as much for me as it is for you. (Well, technically all of my tips are for me too, but I hope that goes without saying).

This week I encourage you to practice being in the moment, in love. Because it feels oh so sweet.

I once read (sorry I don’t remember who wrote it), “that it is impossible to be present in every moment, so stop trying to force that practice.” Instead, when you find yourself aware of the present moment…breathe in and enjoy it. 

I love that advice. 

And, so I share it with you….when you find yourself in the moment with those you love the most this week…take a breath and let yourself enjoy it. It will feel oh so sweet.
