What Connects You In Love?

You may not know this about me, but I’m a “to-do” list sort of gal. I have been known, a time or two, to add things to a to-do list that I’ve already completed, just to feel like I’ve done something productive in a day.  I love a short, simple to-do list because it gives me a feeling of success on particularly busy and overwhelming days.

The truth is, a simple to-do list helps me look at what I’ve accomplished versus feel overwhelmed by what else needs to be done.

And, the same can be true in love. When you spend time “looking” for the things that connect you, when you build that list of “go-to” actions, you start to find more and more items to fill up that list. You start to feel more confident in the connection the two of you share and less overwhelmed by the “list” of things that don’t work or have yet to be accomplished.

This week I really encourage you to start looking for what connects you in love.

Build that “to-do” list so that next time you’re feeling overwhelmed or disconnected you can easily refer to that list for inspiration and reconnection.

Happy list building.

Warmly,
