There's Never A "Perfect" Time

I’m in the middle of my week away in Kauai. Last week, I shared about speaking at a couple’s conference and I actually traveled the first leg of the trip on my own. And as nice as it was to travel alone, it sure made me miss “my people” (i.e husband, kids) at home.  I loved the freedom of breezing through an airport untethered but it also made me realize how much I like being around them.

And that is my inspiration for this week’s tip: Don’t wait for a reason to say, “I love you.”  Don’t wait until you’re missing your partner (and kids) to tell them how great they are. Don’t wait for distance for your heart to grow fonder.

Take every opportunity you have to share your gratitude and appreciation for those in your life that make your heart sing.

Save this image and remind yourself to stop looking for the “perfect” time to say “I love you” and instead share it just because.

Spread love around like confetti my friend.

Yours truly,

-A
