Spring has sprung.

Spring is in the air… can you feel it?? Longer days, more sunshine, and of course, baseball. But what I love most about Spring is all of the possibilities.

Seeing what has survived in my garden over a long, cold Winter. Reconnecting with friends who also did a bit of hibernating the last few months and most importantly, seeing what change is on the horizon.

We have such a funny relationship with change. We welcome it when we’ve been in a colder, harder season. I mean, who didn’t cheer for daylight savings to begin? But when change comes unexpectedly, we shake our fists at it. We want change on our timeline and our terms.

But of course, the truth about change is that it’s never going to stop coming or be predictable in any way.  Instead, it’s about learning how to be open to the change that presents itself.

It’s about being able to reach out for support, lean on each other, and do your best to get through it. Being each other’s umbrella in the storm so change can feel less isolating and overwhelming.

One of your greatest assets in managing change is being open to it. You don’t have to love change, but the more that you can be open to the possibilities that change is bringing your way, the smoother your response will be.

And while change is swirling around you, enjoy all the wonderful buds and sprouts that Springtime has to offer.

Until next week,

-A

P.S. If change has rocked your world recently and you’re struggling to navigate it together, reach out. That’s exactly what I’m here for!
